As a successor to the West Pakistan Board of Technical Education Lahore, the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Board of Technical Education (KP BTE) was established in March 1973 under the North West Frontier Province Board of Technical Education ACT 1972. The functions entrusted to the Board are to organize, regulate and supervise Technical, Commercial and Vocational Education below degree level, in the province of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and adjoining tribal areas. As such, the Board of Technical Education is an academic and examining body for polytechnic, commercial, vocational and other private technical institutions including computer training institutes of under-graduate level. • Skill Development Council, Pakistan Skill Development Council, Islamabad is established by the Government of Pakistan under National Training Ordinance 1980, amended Ordinance 2002. Skill Development Council Islamabad operates on Public-Private Partnership with active participation of Employers Federation of Pakistan [EFP] and Private Sector Businessmen, who have created the success story of the Skill Development Council, Islamabad. Our aim is to identify, develop and arrange Vocational, Technical / Professional and IT Training Programs. Training Programs are flexible, demand driven and cost effective with maximum participation from the Employers. SDC Islamabad also offers tailor-made courses, according to the customer’s needs. It conducts Training Needs Assessment Surveys and schedules its training programs accordingly.
